How to use Lottery-Checker step by step

Lottery-Checker is a free shared UK lottery combination planner. Use it to find a planned line, see whether the same full combination is already marked here, and reduce accidental duplicate planning before using an official authorised channel separately.

Last reviewed: June 2026

Important: Lottery-Checker is not a lottery results checker or ticket service. It does not sell tickets, accept stakes, submit entries, reserve numbers, check winning tickets or pay prizes. Official rules, tickets and results always prevail.

Quick start: use Lottery-Checker in five steps

1

Choose a game

Select Lotto, EuroMillions, Set For Life or Thunderball. The page changes to the correct number rules.

2

Find your line

Browse the full list, search for numbers you already have, or generate one to seven random combinations.

3

Check its status

If the full line is already used here, choose another line or turn on Hide used.

4

Use an official channel

Buy any real ticket separately through an official authorised channel. Nothing on this site buys a ticket.

5

Tap Use

Mark the full line on the shared board so other visitors can avoid planning the same combination.

Choose the correct lottery game

Use the game selector at the top of the app. Each game has a separate shared board and different number rules. A line marked in one game does not affect another game.

EuroMillions

5 main numbers from 1 to 50 plus 2 Lucky Stars from 1 to 12.

Set For Life

5 main numbers from 1 to 47 plus 1 Life Ball from 1 to 10.

UK Lotto

Thunderball

Three ways to find a planned combination

Full combination list

Browse valid combinations page by page. Every row follows the selected game's main-number and bonus-number rules.

Search inside combinations

Enter main and bonus numbers in the boxes. Results contain all the numbers you entered, making it easier to locate a line you already have.

Random combinations

Choose a count from 1 to 7 and tap Generate. The app avoids combinations currently marked as used on the shared board.

The optional Use true random switch requests numbers from random.org. If that service is unavailable or its limit is reached, the app can use secure system-generated randomness instead.

What Used and Hide used mean

When someone taps Use, the exact full combination is marked on Lottery-Checker's shared board for everyone viewing that game. Live updates normally make the status appear on other open devices almost immediately.

Used does not mean every official ticket in the UK. It only means someone has marked that line inside Lottery-Checker. The site is not connected to official ticket sales.

Turn on Hide used to skip combinations currently marked by other users. This is useful when browsing the full list and you only want to see lines not marked on the shared board.

  1. Choose your game and find the line you want.
  2. Confirm that the full combination is not already marked as used here.
  3. If you decide to play, buy the real ticket through an official authorised channel.
  4. Return to Lottery-Checker and tap Use on that exact line.
  5. Keep your own ticket and purchase records separately.
Fair-use reminder: please mark only lines you genuinely intend to play or have already played. Normal users cannot unmark a line; only the site administrator can correct an accidental mark.

What My combinations means

My combinations shows the lines associated with your browser for the selected game. It is useful as a personal planning list, but it is not an official ticket record.

The personal list may not follow you to another browser or device. Clearing cookies or site data can also reset it. The shared Used status is different: that status is stored on the server and is visible to everyone until the scheduled reset.

How to use official Lucky Dip lines

  1. Generate or buy the Lucky Dip through the official authorised channel.
  2. Use Search inside combinations to locate the exact main and bonus numbers on Lottery-Checker.
  3. After purchase, tap Use on each matching line.

Lottery-Checker's own random generator is a planning feature. It does not create or purchase an official Lucky Dip ticket.

Live updates and scheduled resets

New marks are shared between open devices in near real time. If you return to the app after leaving it in the background, the shared state refreshes again when the page becomes active.

The Auto-wipe schedule (UK) shows the next reset time for the selected game. Used marks are cleared around the draw schedule so planning can start again for the next draw cycle.

Using Lottery-Checker for an existing syndicate

Existing groups can use the shared board to compare proposed lines and reduce accidental duplication. The group should still keep its own agreement, member records, payments, official tickets and prize-sharing arrangements.

Lottery-Checker does not create syndicates, collect funds, hold tickets, submit entries, claim prizes or distribute winnings. See the lottery syndicate number-planning guide.

Frequently asked questions

Is Lottery-Checker a results or winning-ticket checker?

No. It checks planned combinations against Lottery-Checker's shared board. Use official sources for draw results, tickets and prizes.

Does tapping Use buy or reserve a ticket?

No. It only marks a line inside this planning tool. It does not reserve numbers or submit an official entry.

Why can a line be used here but still available officially?

Lottery numbers are not exclusive. Used only refers to this website's shared board, not the official operator or every player elsewhere.

Does avoiding duplicate lines improve one ticket's odds?

No. Every valid line keeps its official mathematical odds. Avoiding repeats can only help a group cover more different planned combinations.

Why did My combinations disappear on another phone?

The personal list is browser and device specific. The global Used status is shared, but your personal list may not sync across devices.
