How to check, generate and mark lottery combinations

Lottery-Checker checks Lotto, EuroMillions, Set For Life, Thunderball and Powerball lines saved on this browser against the latest published draw. You can also type up to seven lines into the result window for a one-off comparison that is not saved. The site also provides a shared combination planner for the next draw.

Last reviewed: July 2026

Important: Lottery-Checker is an independent results checker, not an official ticket or prize-validation service. It does not sell tickets, accept stakes, submit entries, reserve numbers, validate tickets, process claims or pay prizes. Results are manually checked before publication, but official rules, tickets and results always prevail.

Quick start: use Lottery-Checker in six steps

1

Choose a game

Select Lotto, EuroMillions, Set For Life, Thunderball or Powerball. The page changes to the correct number rules and reset schedule.

2

Find your line

Browse the Combination browser, use Check your combination for numbers you already have, or generate one to seven random combinations.

3

Check its status

If the full line is already marked on this board, choose another line or turn on Hide marked lines.

4

Use an official channel

Buy any real ticket separately through an official authorised channel. Nothing on this site buys a ticket.

5

Tap Mark this line

Mark the full line on the shared board so other visitors can avoid planning the same combination.

6

Check the last draw

After the result is published, compare lines saved on this browser, or type 1-7 lines for a one-off check. Verify any possible prize through the official operator.

Choose the correct lottery game

Use the game selector at the top of the app. Each game has a separate shared board and different number rules. A line marked in one game does not affect another game.

EuroMillions

5 main numbers from 1 to 50 plus 2 Lucky Stars from 1 to 12.

Set For Life

5 main numbers from 1 to 47 plus 1 Life Ball from 1 to 10.

Three ways to find a planned combination

Combination browser

Browse valid combinations page by page. Every row follows the selected game's main-number and bonus-number rules.

Check your combination

Enter main and bonus numbers in the boxes. Results contain all the numbers you entered, making it easier to locate a line you already have.

Random combinations

Choose a count from 1 to 7 and tap Generate. The app avoids combinations currently marked on the shared board.

The optional Use true random switch requests numbers from random.org. If that service is unavailable or its limit is reached, the app can use secure system-generated randomness instead.

What Marked on this board and Hide marked lines mean

When someone taps Mark this line, the exact full combination is marked on Lottery-Checker's shared board for everyone viewing that game. Live updates normally make the status appear on other open devices almost immediately.

Marked on this board does not mean every official ticket in the UK. It only means someone has marked that line inside Lottery-Checker. The site is not connected to official ticket sales.

Turn on Hide marked lines to skip combinations currently marked by other users. This is useful when browsing the Combination browser and you only want to see lines not marked on the shared board.

  1. Choose your game and find the line you want.
  2. Confirm that the full combination is not already marked on this board.
  3. If you decide to play, buy the real ticket through an official authorised channel.
  4. Return to Lottery-Checker and tap Mark this line on that exact line.
  5. Keep your own ticket and purchase records separately.
Fair-use reminder: please mark only lines you genuinely intend to play or have already played. Normal users cannot unmark a line; only the site administrator can correct an accidental mark.

What My marked lines means

My marked lines shows the lines associated with your browser for the selected game. It is useful as a personal planning list, but it is not an official ticket record.

The personal list may not follow you to another browser or device. Clearing cookies or site data can also reset it. The shared Marked on this board status is different: that status is stored on the server and is visible to everyone during the current draw cycle.

When archived lines from the previous completed draw are available, My marked lines shows a last-draw section. It contains the saved lines from that completed draw so you can decide which ones to mark again.

Reuse lines from the last draw

After a scheduled board reset and result publication, Lottery-Checker can show lines that were saved on this browser for the completed draw. They appear inside My marked lines in the last-draw section, with up to 20 lines per page.

  1. Open My marked lines for the selected game.
  2. Scroll to the last-draw section when it is available.
  3. Review the archived lines from the completed draw.
  4. Tap Mark this line on any line you want to mark again for the current draw board.
  5. Buy or enter any real ticket separately through an official authorised channel.
Important: using a line again only marks that line inside Lottery-Checker's shared planner. It does not buy a ticket, enter a draw, reserve numbers, validate a ticket or confirm any prize.

Last draw, possible prizes and no-match messages

At the scheduled board reset, lines in My marked lines are archived for the completed draw before the active shared board is cleared. After the winning numbers and prize information are manually checked and published, the Check result button compares those archived lines with the result.

If a published result has archived lines for this browser and you have not viewed it yet, the result comparison may appear automatically when you open Lottery-Checker. Once you close or view it, that result is marked as seen for this browser.

How the result is prepared

  1. The administrator enters the winning numbers and available prize information from the official draw publication.
  2. The result is manually checked before it is made visible on Lottery-Checker.
  3. The site compares that result with lines archived from the same browser for the completed draw.
  4. Published results remain available in the permanent game archive after newer results are added.
Always verify officially: the comparison cannot prove that a ticket was purchased, entered on time, retained, valid or eligible for payment. Check the original ticket and official result with the authorised operator or retailer. Only the official operator can validate a ticket and confirm a payable prize.

Official draw history: EuroMillions, Set For Life, UK Lotto and Thunderball.

Check your own lines without saving them

The Check your own lines area inside the result window lets you type 1-7 lines and compare them with the published draw currently on screen. This is useful if you want a quick comparison without marking anything on the shared board.

How to use official Lucky Dip lines

  1. Generate or buy the Lucky Dip through the official authorised channel.
  2. Use Check your combination to locate the exact main and bonus numbers on Lottery-Checker.
  3. After purchase, tap Mark this line on each matching line.

Lottery-Checker's own random generator is a planning feature. It does not create or purchase an official Lucky Dip ticket.

Live updates and scheduled resets

New marks are shared between open devices in near real time. If you return to the app after leaving it in the background, the shared state refreshes again when the page becomes active.

The app shows the next scheduled board reset for the selected game. Lotto, EuroMillions, Set For Life and Thunderball reset around their normal draw cycles. For Powerball, Next sales cutoff (UK) is 11:55pm on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday; the shared board resets when UK entries close, and the draw takes place early the next morning. Marked lines are archived for the completed cycle and then cleared from the active board so planning can start again. Published draw results remain available in the permanent result archive.

Using Lottery-Checker for an existing syndicate

Existing groups can use the shared board to compare proposed lines and reduce accidental duplication. The group should still keep its own agreement, member records, payments, official tickets and prize-sharing arrangements.

Lottery-Checker does not create syndicates, collect funds, hold tickets, submit entries, claim prizes or distribute winnings. See the lottery syndicate number-planning guide.

Frequently asked questions

Can Lottery-Checker tell me whether my saved line matched the last draw?

It can provide an unofficial comparison using a manually checked result. It cannot validate a ticket or confirm a payable prize. Always verify the original ticket through the official operator.

Does tapping Mark this line buy or reserve a ticket?

No. It only marks a line inside this planning tool. It does not reserve numbers or submit an official entry.

Why can a line be marked here but still available officially?

Lottery numbers are not exclusive. Marked on this board only describes this website's shared planner, not the official operator or every player elsewhere.

Does avoiding duplicate lines improve one ticket's odds?

No. Every valid line keeps its official mathematical odds. Avoiding repeats can only help a group cover more different planned combinations.

Why did My marked lines disappear on another phone?

The personal list is browser and device specific. The shared-board marked status is visible to everyone, but your personal list may not sync across devices.
