Check, generate and mark lottery lines—step by step
Compare up to seven complete Lotto, EuroMillions, Set For Life, Thunderball or Powerball lines with the latest published result, generate 1–7 valid random lines and mark a planned combination on this site's current board. A board mark is only a planning signal. It does not buy a ticket or enter a draw.
Quick start: use Lottery-Checker in six steps
Choose a game
Select Lotto, EuroMillions, Set For Life, Thunderball or Powerball. The page changes to the correct number rules and reset schedule.
Find your line
Browse the Combination browser, use Check your combination for numbers you already have, or generate one to seven random combinations.
Check its status
Read the status beside the complete line. In the Combination browser, use Hide marked lines to browse unmarked combinations, or Only marked lines to see current shared-board marks from you and other visitors.
Mark the line
If you plan to use the line, tap Mark to add it immediately. A persistent Undo control remains available to this browser session for five minutes.
Use an official channel
If you decide to participate, buy any real ticket separately through an official authorised channel. Nothing on this site buys a ticket.
Check the last draw
After the result is published, compare lines associated with this browser, or send 1-7 lines for a one-off check that is not retained. Verify any possible prize through the official operator.
Choose the correct lottery game
Use the game selector at the top of the app. Each game has a separate shared board and different number rules. A line marked in one game does not affect another game.
Powerball
5 main numbers from 1 to 69 plus 1 Powerball from 1 to 26. UK sales close at 11:55pm on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
Open Powerball checkerThree ways to find a planned combination
Combination browser
If the list is collapsed, choose Browse valid combinations to open it. Browse all valid lines, hide marked lines or view only marked lines. Every row follows the selected game's main-number and bonus-number rules.
Check your combination
Enter main and bonus numbers in the boxes. Results contain all the numbers you entered, making it easier to locate a line you already have.
Random combinations
A valid suggested line is ready when a game page opens. Choose Another line for a replacement, or Generate up to 7 lines for more choices. The app avoids combinations currently marked on the shared board.
The optional Use true random switch requests numbers from random.org. If that service is unavailable or its limit is reached, the app can use secure system-generated randomness instead.
Marked status, Hide marked lines and Only marked lines
When someone taps Mark, the site immediately adds the exact full combination to Lottery-Checker's shared board for everyone viewing that game. After it is added, a persistent Undo control remains available to that browser session for up to five minutes, even if the success dialog is closed. Live updates normally make the status appear on other open devices almost immediately.
Marked on this board does not mean every official ticket in the UK. It only means someone has marked that line inside Lottery-Checker. The site is not connected to official ticket sales.
Both filters in the Combination browser are available to everyone for all five games:
- Hide marked lines shows only combinations not currently marked on the shared board. It hides your own marks as well as other visitors' marks.
- Only marked lines shows combinations already marked on the current shared board, including your own marks and those made by other visitors.
Turning on either filter turns the other off. Turn both off to browse all valid combinations, and use Prev and Next to move through the selected list. Viewing a filtered list does not mark a line or save it to My lines.
To see only the lines associated with this browser, open My lines. The Only marked lines filter covers the shared board for the selected game and current draw cycle.
Recommended planning order
- Choose your game and find the line you want.
- Confirm that the full combination is not already marked on this board.
- If you plan to use the line, tap Mark to add it immediately to the shared board. Use Undo within five minutes if needed.
- If you decide to participate, buy the real ticket separately through an official authorised channel.
- Keep your own ticket and purchase records separately.
What My lines means
My lines shows the lines associated with this browser through a necessary session cookie for the selected game. It is useful as a personal planning list, but it is not an official ticket record.
The personal list may not follow you to another browser or device. Clearing cookies or site data can also reset it. The shared Marked on this board status is different: that status is stored on the server and is visible to everyone during the current draw cycle.
When archived lines from the previous completed draw are available, My lines shows a Use last draw lines shortcut. It opens the archived lines so you can decide which ones to mark again.
Reuse lines from the last draw
After a scheduled board reset and result publication, Lottery-Checker can show lines associated with this browser for the completed draw. They are available from My lines through Use last draw lines, with up to 20 lines per page.
- Open My lines for the selected game.
- Select Use last draw lines when it is available.
- Review the archived lines from the completed draw.
- Tap Mark on any line you want to add to the current draw board.
- Buy or enter any real ticket separately through an official authorised channel.
Last draw, possible prizes and no-match messages
At the scheduled board reset, lines in My lines are archived for the completed draw before the active shared board is cleared. After the winning numbers and prize information are manually checked and published, the Check result button compares those archived lines with the result.
If a published result has archived lines for this browser and you have not viewed it yet, the result comparison may appear automatically when you open Lottery-Checker. Once you close or view it, that result is marked as seen for this browser.
How the result is prepared
- The administrator enters the winning numbers and available prize information from the official draw publication.
- The result is manually checked before it is made visible on Lottery-Checker.
- The site compares that result with lines archived from the same browser for the completed draw.
- Published results remain available in the permanent game archive after newer results are added.
- If a saved line reaches a listed prize category, the app shows the matching category and a possible prize.
- If no saved line reaches a prize category, the app shows No prize match found and your closest match.
- If no line was associated with this browser for that draw, the app shows the result but explains that there is nothing to compare.
- After a completed draw is archived, selected last-draw lines can be reused for planning the next/current draw from My lines.
- For the current UK Lotto format, each saved line is compared with both published result rounds and each round's separate Bonus Ball.
Official draw history: EuroMillions, Set For Life, UK Lotto, Thunderball and Powerball.
Check your own lines without saving them
The Check your own lines area inside the result window lets you type 1-7 lines and compare them with the published draw currently on screen. This is useful if you want a quick comparison without marking anything on the shared board.
- Typed lines are sent to the server for the current one-off comparison and are not retained.
- They are not added to My lines and are not marked on the shared board.
- They do not buy a ticket, validate a ticket, reserve numbers, submit an entry or confirm that a prize is payable.
- Any possible prize shown from typed lines must still be checked with the original ticket and the official operator.
How to use official Lucky Dip lines
- Generate or buy the Lucky Dip through the official authorised channel.
- Use Check your combination to locate the exact main and bonus numbers on Lottery-Checker.
- After purchase, tap Mark on each matching line.
Lottery-Checker's own random generator is a planning feature. It does not create or purchase an official Lucky Dip ticket.
Live updates and scheduled resets
New marks are shared between open devices in near real time. If you return to the app after leaving it in the background, the shared state refreshes again when the page becomes active.
The app shows the next scheduled board reset for the selected game. Lotto, EuroMillions, Set For Life and Thunderball reset around their normal draw cycles. For Powerball, Next sales cutoff (UK) is 11:55pm on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The shared board resets when UK entries close, and the draw takes place early the next morning. Marked lines are archived for the completed cycle and then cleared from the active board so planning can start again. Published draw results remain available in the permanent result archive.
Using Lottery-Checker for an existing syndicate
Existing groups can use the shared board to compare proposed lines and reduce accidental duplication. The group should still keep its own agreement, member records, payments, official tickets and prize-sharing arrangements.
Lottery-Checker does not create syndicates, collect funds, hold tickets, submit entries, claim prizes or distribute winnings. See the lottery syndicate number-planning guide.
Frequently asked questions
Can Lottery-Checker tell me whether my saved line matched the last draw?
It can provide an unofficial comparison using a manually checked result. It cannot validate a ticket or confirm a payable prize. Always verify the original ticket through the official operator.
Does tapping Mark buy or reserve a ticket?
No. It only marks a line inside this planning tool. It does not reserve numbers or submit an official entry.
Why can a line be marked here but still available officially?
Lottery numbers are not exclusive. Marked on this board only describes this website's shared planner, not the official operator or every player elsewhere.
Does avoiding duplicate lines improve one ticket's odds?
No. Every valid line keeps its official mathematical odds. Avoiding repeats can only help a group cover more different planned combinations.
Why are My lines different on another phone?
The personal list is browser and device specific. The shared-board marked status is visible to everyone, but your personal list may not sync across devices.

A result-checking example
Illustrative Thunderball numbers: your line is 2, 11, 20, 29, 37 plus Thunderball 8. The example result is 2, 11, 20, 29, 38 plus Thunderball 8. The checker should report four main matches and the Thunderball. Main-number order does not matter, but the Thunderball must match its own field.
Choose the right game and draw date before entering numbers. Use the Thunderball archive for an older draw. For Lotto, check each published round separately with that round's Bonus Ball. Never add matches from different rounds. See the Thunderball rules and probability example or two-round Lotto guide.
