Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-07-23
- Lottery-Checker provides an independent results comparison and shared combination planner. It does not sell tickets, take payments, validate tickets, or enter draws.
- “Used” combinations are shared for the current draw cycle, then temporarily archived for the last-draw comparison and optional last-draw reuse before the shared board is cleared.
- The Last draw feature is an unofficial comparison only. It may compare lines saved on this browser, or lines you type manually into the result window. A displayed “possible prize” does not validate a ticket or confirm that a prize is payable.
- Existing syndicates may use the Service as a planning tool, but we do not create, operate, promote or manage syndicates.
- You must always rely on official rules/results and official channels to buy tickets and check outcomes.
- 18+ only. Please play responsibly.
- Optional cookies: if you consent, we may use Google Analytics cookies to understand traffic and general use of the Service. You can manage this via the cookie banner and “Cookie settings”.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of the website lottery-checker.co.uk
(the “Service”), operated under the name “Lottery-Checker” (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. What the Service does (and does not) do
1.1 Independent results comparison and planning tool
The Service is an independent information tool that can compare combinations saved from the same browser with a manually checked, published draw result. It also helps users organise and track lottery number combinations for games such as EuroMillions, Set For Life, Lotto, Thunderball and Powerball.
1.2 No gambling facilities
We do not:
- sell lottery tickets or accept stakes;
- process payments, pool funds, or hold money on your behalf;
- enter numbers into any draw for you;
- pay out prizes or winnings.
Marking or saving a combination in the Service does not purchase a ticket and does not enter you into any lottery draw. You must use official channels to buy tickets and you must rely on official rules and results.
1.3 Shared planner behaviour
The Service includes a shared planning feature: when a user marks a combination as “used”, that “used” state may be visible to other users for the relevant game during the current draw cycle. At the scheduled board reset, the shared board is cleared for the next cycle. For Powerball, this reset is the 11:55pm UK sales cutoff on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday; the draw follows early the next morning. Lines linked to each browser may be archived temporarily for the Last draw comparison and the optional Use again from last draw planning shortcut. Do not use the Service to store sensitive personal information.
1.4 Last draw comparison and possible prizes
After we manually check and publish a draw result, the Service may compare that result with combinations previously marked from the same browser. This is a saved-line results comparison for information and convenience. It is not an official operator service, ticket-validation service, claim service, or guarantee of any win.
The result window may also allow you to type a small number of lines for a one-off comparison with the displayed draw. Those manually typed lines are not intended to be stored as entries, marked as used, purchased, validated or submitted into any draw by the Service.
Any amount described as a possible prize is an unofficial estimate based on the result and prize information entered into the Service. It does not prove that a ticket was bought, entered before the deadline, paid for, valid, undamaged, retained, or eligible for payment. It also cannot account for every operator rule, claim deadline, exceptional prize adjustment, or error in manually entered data.
You must check the original ticket and the official draw result directly with the authorised operator or retailer. Only the official operator can validate a ticket, determine entitlement, confirm the payable amount, and process a claim. Official game rules, prize tables, results, validation decisions, and claim deadlines always prevail.
1.5 Syndicate use
Any page, guide or article about syndicates on this website is provided for general information and planning purposes only. It is not an invitation to join a syndicate, it does not create a syndicate agreement, and it does not make Lottery-Checker responsible for any syndicate arrangement between users.
Existing lottery syndicates may use the Service as a planning tool to organise number combinations and reduce duplicated lines. The Service does not create, operate, administer, promote, advertise or manage lottery syndicates.
We do not collect money from syndicate members, pool funds, buy tickets, submit entries, verify tickets, hold tickets, claim prizes or distribute winnings. Any syndicate arrangement is private between its members.
Users are responsible for keeping their own syndicate agreement, buying tickets only through official authorised channels, keeping their own records, sharing any winnings privately, and following applicable National Lottery rules and UK law.
2. Non-affiliation and trademarks
We are not endorsed by, affiliated with, or authorised by The National Lottery, Allwyn, or any other lottery operator. Names such as “EuroMillions”, “Set For Life”, “Lotto”, “Thunderball” and “Powerball” are used only to identify the supported games. All trademarks and brand names remain the property of their respective owners.
3. Eligibility and responsible play
The Service is intended for users aged 18+ only. By using the Service, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and legally permitted to participate in relevant lotteries in your jurisdiction.
Please play responsibly. If you need support, visit BeGambleAware.
4. Your use of the Service
4.1 Personal, non-commercial use
You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You must not resell the Service, or offer it as part of a commercial product or service, without our prior written permission.
4.2 Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems;
- probe, scan, or test the security of the Service except with our written consent;
- use automation that creates an unreasonable load, scrape content, or bypass limits;
- introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users’ access to it.
4.3 Rate limits and abuse prevention
To protect performance and fairness, we may apply reasonable rate limits, block abusive traffic, or restrict access (temporarily or permanently) where we detect misuse.
5. Information and accuracy
Any information shown in the Service (including generated combinations, list displays, timing information, manually entered draw results, match categories, and possible-prize amounts) is provided on an unofficial basis for convenience. If there is any discrepancy, official results and official rules from the lottery operator prevail.
We do not guarantee that the Service will always be accurate, complete, or error-free, although we aim to fix issues when discovered.
6. Third-party services
Some features may rely on third-party services (for example, random.org when “true random” is enabled). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms and policies.
In addition, if you consent via our cookie banner, we may load Google Analytics to measure traffic and general usage of the Service. If you reject, we do not load Google Analytics. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Availability and changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be suspended, restricted, or modified without notice for maintenance, security, technical reasons, or feature improvements.
We may modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Where a change is material, we will try to provide reasonable notice (for example by updating these Terms or displaying a notice on the site).
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
8.1 “As is” basis
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions and representations, whether express or implied, including (without limitation) implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
8.2 No liability for gambling decisions
You are solely responsible for decisions you make about purchasing tickets, selecting numbers, and checking results. We are not responsible for missed entries, lost opportunities to win, or any financial loss arising from your gambling decisions.
8.3 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for:
- any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages; or
- any loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, or data,
arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
9. Intellectual property
The software, design, and content of the Service (excluding third-party trademarks and your own number selections) are protected by intellectual property rights and remain our property (or that of our licensors). You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service as permitted by these Terms.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example when we add features or to reflect changes in law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when they were most recently revised.
If you continue to use the Service after changes take effect, you will be deemed to have accepted the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
